Inputs

Templates copy the minimum time at each step from the FDA label. Your prescriber may hold a step longer; edit the rows to match your prescription.

days

7 for once-weekly agents.

Used as the event title in the calendar file. Leave blank for a generic label.

Schedule

Add at least one step with a dose and a number of injections. The schedule and the calendar file appear here.

Formulashown in full, nothing hidden
injection n date = start date + (n - 1) x interval days (n = 1, 2, 3, ...)
injections at step = number you entered for that step
step k begins on = injection number (1 + sum of injections in steps 1..k-1)
total mg = sum over injections of dose (mg)

Dates are computed in UTC on calendar days, so a daylight-saving change never shifts an injection day. The calendar file uses all-day events, one per injection, with the dose in the title.

Assumptions, checked September 4, 2026

  • Label templates reproduce the minimum weeks at each dose from the current FDA prescribing information for Wegovy, Zepbound and Ozempic. They show 4 weeks of the maintenance dose only so the plan has an end; maintenance continues as prescribed.
  • The label allows a dose to be held longer for tolerability, and the Zepbound label allows maintenance at 5, 10 or 15 mg. Edit the rows to match what was prescribed.
  • Missed-dose rules are not applied. The Wegovy and Zepbound labels give specific rules for a missed dose; see those labels and your prescriber.
  • Nothing in this tool applies to compounded products beyond the calendar arithmetic; compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA approved.

This calculator is an arithmetic aid for medication a licensed prescriber has already prescribed. It does not recommend a dose. Confirm any result with your prescriber or pharmacist before use.
